Madina has held positions in respected firms, contributing to various projects in commercial, public, and residential sectors. Alongside her professional roles, she has tutored environmental building systems and construction analysis at the University of Melbourne.
Driven by a strong desire to broaden her expertise, Madina pursued additional qualifications. This included earning a Diploma in Building and Construction, providing her with insights from a builder's perspective. She also completed a Certificate IV in Home Energy Efficiency and Sustainability, equipping her to design buildings with optimal thermal performance.
Before starting her architectural career in Australia, Madina was a scholarship student at the University of Melbourne. During her studies, she participated in several independent design competitions, earning recognition through nominations and awards such as the Victorian Graduate Prize in Architecture.
Madina views architecture as a means to improve human well-being and environmental sustainability. Inspired by Buckminster Fuller's 'Dare to Be Naïve' manifesto, she approaches projects with a fresh perspective, aiming to design spaces that prioritise resource stewardship, energy efficiency, care, biodiversity, and environmental enhancements.
